Take a look at this stunning Ayaka knitted by Linda Orvedal, aka Linorve on Ravelry. In fact, Linda took part in the test knitting of the pattern in my Ravelry group. Her Ayaka is knitted in size 3, using Lillelam Merino, a pure merino with 162 meters/177 yards on each 50 gram balls, to obtain the 25 stitches and 34 rows gauge using 3.25 mm/US 3 needle size measuring 10 cm/4 inches square. Linda writes on her project page: “This is a gorgeous pattern with an excellent fit”. I am ever so thrilled to hear it! Thank you so much!

Linda has only made minor changes from the pattern; instead of knitting the pieces flat, she chose to work the body in one piece with a fake seam in the side, and knit the sleeves in the round too, also with fake seams. In addition Linda made her Ayaka about 14 cm/5.5 inches shorter than the pattern and added buttons all the way down. I love it and these amazing photos! Thank you so much, Linda!
