Maimi Pattern Released

The test knit of my Maimi, designed for Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, has come to an end with some stunning results and I have released the pattern in English on Ravelry (the Norwegian one is coming soon). I am so grateful to my test knitters for improving and correcting my pattern before its release. Maimi was brilliantly captured by photographer Eivind Røhne worn on model Ammal Ahmed Haj Mohamed, with make-up & hair by Hina Suleman and silver earrings by Kaja Gjedebo Design, at Galleri Wûrth back in June. The sweater is knitted in their gorgeous Sol lambswool yarn and kits are available directly from their website.Named Maimi, Japanese for smiling with truth, is this sweater adorned with travelling cables, framed with a single cable in each side. Each body part has several cable repeats, while the sleeve only has only one. The pullover is crowned by a twisted rib neckband that ends in a tubular bind off. Maimi is knitted in the soft Norwegian lambswool yarn Sol from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.
