I have been looking forward to share the photos from our photoshoot at Bøler Kirke back in December and will start with the old design Gaylia. Jazz singer Anette Løvtangen, accepted the challenge of being model for a day, after Olivia Lindtein got ill, to my relief. Photographer Eivind Røhne and second photographer Michael, both gave her tips on how to pose during the day. Make-up & Hair Stylist Hina Suleman perfected her looks. Gaylia was first photographed back in 2016 at the Architectural Museum in Oslo.I wanted to style it differently from last time, hence I chose my black plissé culottes instead of a pair of pencil trousers.Out of the three backdrops I had picked at the chapel in Bøler Church, I went for the window corner for this sweater design with a scarf (made in two parts and joined in the middle).Anette is wearing size small with 4 cm/1.5 inches negative ease, but the pattern is available in sizes S to 2XL with a bust circumference of 84 to 126 cm/33 to 49.5 inches. The gauge is 21 stitches and 30 rows in stockinette stitch using a 4 mm/US 6 needle measures 10 cm/4” square.A textural cross cable adorns this a-line sweater with vents. The cable ends in two smaller cables that continue along each side of the v-neck. A check pattern that resembles playful cables adds texture to the sleeves. Gaylia is Norse for jovial, and perfect for this everyday sweater knitted in Dale, Pure Eco Wool.The front and back are worked back and forth while sleeves are worked in the round. Each side has a few garter stitches as a side band and the sleeve has a false seam made of garter stitch. I am currently reviewing the old pattern and will upload a new version with new photos shortly on LoveCrafts and Ravelry.
