Thanks to my brilliant test knitters, I released the Arine pattern in both English and Norwegian on the 30th of December, with their stunning versions on the Ravelry pattern page. They helped me correct and improve the pattern, after technical editor Corrina Ferguson had checked my math as well as measurements. Arine is knitted in the divine mYak Baby Yak Medium and the sample is worked in Mustard. Above you see me wearing the sample in size 2 at the Munich Residence, the former royal palace of the Wittelsbach monarchs of Bavaria, in Germany. Michael and I visited during Munich Knits in November.
Here is model Ammal Ahmed Haj Mohamed, with make-up & hair by Hina Suleman, wearing Arine. Photographer Eivind Røhne captured these amazing photos.
Arine – Japanese for one who is full of joy – is this pullover adorned with cables, framed by double seed stitch in each side. The pullover is crowned by a twisted rib neckband that ends in a tubular bind off and has set-in sleeves. Arine is worked in pieces for the ultimate fit, in the gorgeous Baby Yak Medium by mYak.
