Not only did Michael take this amazing photo of the meteor but he also captured the Northern Lights, from the front of our house in Ørje in the evening of the 12th of August. The Guardian asked their readers to submit their photos, so Michael emailed his and – to his delight – it was selected and published in the article about the Perseid Meteor Shower. Michael was prepared for the meteor shower, but did not expect to see the Northern Lights, as they are more common in the North of Norway.
